Vision

Our vision is to ensure security of society. We emphasize making public feel secure and content that their lives, liberties, honour and estate are safe and well-guarded by ensuring public peace and order through community engagement and proactive conflict resolution. Safeguarding rights of individuals in custody, we prevent and detect crimes, gather and share intelligence, and maintain order in public spaces to uphold the rule of law.

Our vision encompasses swift redressal of grievances, coordination with sister agencies for public protection, and compassionate management of mental health situations. Ensuring safety of public places, securing dignitaries, and providing protection to educational institutions, worship places from threats are our top priority. Addressing grievances, and enhancing security through intelligence gathering and sharing, preserving and promoting public peace we march towards a better, more cohesive, more peaceful and safer society.

All possible measures to keep District from any untoward situation and terrorist threat. In this regard barriers system, pickets and Police Posts at various strategic points and entry/exit routes have been established and deployment of personnel have been ensured round the clock
