Before 2018, all matter related to Welfare Benefits deal by Account Branch Addl. IGP/SB and the same forwarded to Welfare Branch CPO Sindh Karachi for further process i.e. issuance of welfare grant.
In 2018, the powers for utilization of Welfare Fund transform to all Ranges by the CPO Sindh.
The Welfare Section (HQ) Special Branch, Sindh, Karachi Established on 21-01-2020 vide order No. 672-92/DIGP/SB/Estt/Karachi.
1.Wedding Gift (Marriage).
2.Retirement Grant.
3.Immediate Relief (Burial Charges).
4.Financial Aid on Medical Ground.
5.Financial Assistance (for deceased).
6.Benevolent Fund.
7.Group Insurance.
8.Scholarship.
9.Medical Financial Assistance.
10. Medical Re-Imbursement.
11. Distribution of Eidi amongst to Families of Shuhada.
12. Facilitate to Special Branch Officers / Officials for their medical treatment in all Govt. & Private Hospitals in Karachi.
13. Injury Compensation.
14. Prize Money position holders for children of Police Officers / Officials (Matric / Intermediate).
15. Welfare Management System (WMS).
SPBWF Committee comprising on the following officers to scrutinize & considerate the cases of Revolving Fund i.e. Immediate Relief, Marriage Grant, Retirement Grant and Medical Aid.
Upto Rs. 100,000/- Additional Inspector General of Police Special Branch, Sindh, Karachi Discretionary Powers for the grant of Financial Aid on medical ground. The cases Financial Assistance on medical ground which are exceeding to Rs.100,000/- are referred to Welfare Branch, CPO Sindh Karachi.

Exisiting Rates
1.In all Public/Private Sector Universities including SZABIST and IBA (For Shaheed & Deceased).
2. In all Public Sector Universities including SZABIST and IBA (For Serving Employees).
3.Children of Shaheed, Deceased & Serving Employees Study in Cadet Collages will also get 100% Scholarship (recently approved by the SPBWF Boards in it 12th Meeting held on 12 December 2022.
4.Self Finance and Admission on Sports basics will not be entertained.
5.100% of Admission Fee, Tuition Fee allowed subject to securing 70% Marks (1st January 2023).
6.Scholarship for Inter, O/A Level is available only for the Children of Shaheed, Deceased or Medically invalid due to Police Encounter, Bomb blast or terrorist attack.
