Sindh Police Welfare
The Welfare Branch was Established after the Framing of Sindh Police Welfare Fund Rule-1979.
The Welfare Branch is supervised by the AIGP Welfare under the Administrative Control of IGP Sindh.
- Processing of Shaheed and Injury Compensation cases.
- Processing of Benevolent Fund Cases.
- Processing of Financial Assistance cases (in case of death during service).
- Processing of Welfare Benefits i.e. Immediate Relief (Burial Charges), Marriage Grant, Retirement Grant, Financial Aid on medical ground, Scholarship Cases, Medical Financial Aid.
- Maintaining Police Private Funds, viz Sindh Police Benevolent / Welfare Fund, Immediate Medical Relief for Injured Police personnel, etc.
- Rs. 10.00 Million (Bomb Blast, Encounter, Target Killing, Watch & Ward duties, Terrorist Attack)
- Rs. 01 million (Road Accident in the line of duty)
- Salary till the age of superannuation of age of 60 years.
- Burial charges Rs. 300,000/-
- Group Insurance as per rank
- Marriage Grant Rs. 50,000/- , 75,000/- and 100,000/-
- Educational Scholarship in selected Institute.
- Family of Shaheed can retain Govt: accommodation till the age of superannuation of Shaheed if already occupying by the family.
- Leave encashment / gross pension / Gratuity amount & GP Fund on the age of 60 years superannuation.

MARRIAGE GRANT
- Marriage Grant Rs. 50,000/- , Rs. 75,000/- and Rs. 100,000/- each for two children (son/ daughter) of Serving Police Personnel (applicable from 01.09.2018)
- Marriage Grant Rs. 50,000/- , Rs. 75,000/- and Rs. 100,000/- for serving Police Personnel on their own 1st marriage only, subject to completion of probationary period of three years. (applicable form 10.01.2019)
SCHOLARSHIP
- 100% Scholarship (Admission / tuition fees) for all children of serving Police Personnel in all public sector Universities, SZABIST and Cadit Colleges.
- Children of Police Personnel securing positions in Matriculation and Intermediate Boards will be granted reward as per following rates, applicable from 2021-22.
- Rs. 150,000/- for 1st Position
- Rs. 100,000/- for 2nd Position
- Rs. 50,000/- for 3rd Position
MEDICAL FINANCIAL AID
This benefit is available on following diseases for Serving Police Personnel and their spouses/ real children:
- Heart Surgery
- Liver / Hepatitis -C
- Cancer
- Kidney / Renal Transplant
- Liver Transplant
- Miscellaneous diseases
